Two Ways to Learn: Cohort-Based or Start Anytime
We understand that every learner’s journey is different, so we’ve designed two distinct ways to experience our online courses, allowing you the flexibility or structure you need:
Cohort-Based Online Courses
Our cohort-based courses run on a set calendar, with fixed start and end dates, but allow you to move through the content at your own pace during the 6-week duration. Expect to commit approximately 2 hours per week for engaging with interactive videos, completing activities and participating in discussions. You’ll also have access to the course mentor team and will benefit from feedback from a global community of learners. Plus, you will get 7 weeks of additional access after the 5-weeks to the course lessons and our online community.
Interested in our Start Anytime Courses? Our Start-Anytime courses provide you with complete flexibility to start anytime and learn on your own schedule. Each course is broken down into easy-to-follow video lessons, practical activities, and small assignments. These courses take between 4-6 hours to complete, and you’ll have 90 days of access from the date of purchase. With 12 years of professional experience, I have successfully delivered programs and services in mental health, career development, and Human Resource and Organization Development. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2010 and my Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling in 2013 from the University of Santo Tomas. My master’s thesis, titled “Personality Traits, Work Values and Expected Career Outcomes as Bases for School-to-Work Career Transition Program,” reflects my passion for supporting individuals in their career journeys. In 2013, I became a licensed Guidance Counselor, ranking 3rd as a board exam topnotcher.
Currently, I serve as the Mental Wellness Coach at Athena. Previously, I worked as a Senior Program Officer and Career Coach at SFI Career Center and as a guidance counselor at the University of Santo Tomas, where I spent almost a decade honing my skills.
I have facilitated numerous lectures, seminars, and training sessions for government agencies, organizations, schools, and universities, covering topics such as 21st-century skills, labor market information, mental health first aid, and competency-based HR frameworks. I also teach review classes for the Guidance and Counseling board exams.
My co-authored research includes the DOLE CGAP Impact Evaluation of Career Guidance Program, the Effectiveness of Career Guidance and Employment Coaching Intervention in Improving Career Competencies of Junior and Senior High School Students, and the Philippine Talent Map Final Report on 21st-century soft skills in the Philippine labor force.
Additionally, I provide consulting services on HROD processes and mental health for various organizations and government offices. I am affiliated with the Philippine Guidance and Counseling Association (PGCA) and the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP). Currently, I serve as the Public Relations Officer and a Board Member of the Career Development Association of the Philippines (CDAP).
